Around by Bike "Pasquetta in Bicicletta" - Tour of Capo d'Orlando - Ficarra (Full Day)Enjoy a fabulous bike ride between the sea and the hills of Nebrodi Itinerary Description:Excursion with guide by mountain bike in Sicily between the towns of Capo d'Orlando, Brolo, Ficarra and Sinagra.The departure will be from the beautiful tourist port of Capo d'Orlando, where in addition to enjoying the enchanting scenery, you can admire the Cave del Mercadante, large stone rocks that probably once served as millstones for the mills. Here, after a briefing, during which the itinerary will be presented, the bikes will be put in place to ensure maximum fun with the best comfort. We will proceed through the picturesque seaside village of San Gregorio, considered by many to be the most beautiful beach in Capo d'Orlando, so much so that it inspired the famous Genoese singer-songwriter Gino Paoli to write the words to the song Sapore di sale, written here in the 1960s.Once in the town of Brolo, we will head towards the medieval village that overlooks the town and which houses the fortress, which has now become not only a symbol of the town, but also a medieval museum housing numerous instruments of war and torture. After a brief stop to appreciate the view, we will take a short tour through the alleys of the village and head towards Ficarra.After about 5 km through the green Nebrodian woods, it will be the Panchina Gigante (Giant Bench) that will suggest a stop to admire the splendid views of the Aeolian Islands, and after a brief snack, we will set off again for the historic centre.Once in the centre, we will head for the convent of the Friars Minor on the highest part of the town, from where it is possible to appreciate a unique panorama, which on certain days reaches as far as the summit of Mount Etna, after which we will stop in the centre for a tasting of traditional local products.
